Before & After

in Before & After

If I want to be inspired and continue to better myself, I absolutely love seeing and reading about examples from others, especially before and after shots of a success.

I have created this blog to inspire myself and others, and I now give you the chance to do so as well.

How?

I have created a Flickr group so that you can upload your achievements to share with us and from time to time I will pick out some photos to feature on this site and if I find I am getting a good supply, I will incorporate as a weekly feature.

What am I looking for?

Anything really, decluttering  a room or a workspace, organizing your garage, detailing your filthy car, organizing your filing cabinet or even a picture of  yourself if you have achieved weight loss success.

I have already kicked this off by uploading a before and after shot of my desk area at home and will add more as I declutter my whole house

Below is the before shot of my desk in my study (you can also view a video of  the whole room here ). Actually the desk area is not too bad really, although you will notice in the top right mail tray is full with mostly unread junk mail that needs daily attention. Also, there a numerous stationery items that need to be put back after use.

Now, here is the after shot. The desk is now clear and back to how it should be.  I have not re shuffled any of  the previous stuff. I simply gave each item serious thought. For example, the mail tray was processed until zero which I will continue to do so each day from now on. The stationery and notebooks were placed back were they came from, and a couple of  other smaller  items were returned back to the owners.

Here is your chance to shine!

Upload your before and afters to the Live It With less Flickr group and include a brief description explaining your success, that way if you get picked everyone will learn about how you achieved your success.

ATTENTION:  I will feature the 1st, 5th and 10th person to upload their before and after shot. So get cracking, and hit me with your best shots!

Cool idea. Wish I would have come up with it first. I will try to see what I can come up with as I prepare to move to PHX and will be minimalizing some more.

Ah, I’ll have to see how the shared office looks. I mostly took care of it while paring down for my 100 Thing Challenge. However, that room appears to be the resting place of anything not baby-related. Great idea, Greg.

I added some photos! Looks like I’m the first one besides you, but I don’t know if I count as someone you can feature since I just talked about mine on my blog today. Oh well, even if I don’t count, I’m happy to join your pool! I have a Flickr pool too where people have uploaded some great before/after shots, so it’ll be cool to see what your readers some up with!
